Holy Pop Surrealism, Batman!

Hey, how often do you get paid to talk to Adam West and look at Batman paintings? Ha, you're all jealous!

I loved it! It was completely escapist and fun -- a big jump from the seriousness of writing business. Plus, I learned so much about lowbrow art, which I didn't even know had a name. Now you know.

Anyway, my story's in tomorrow's paper. The photo is of artist Amanda Visell's "Double Identity."

Unfortunately, I spent almost all the money I made on this story at the gallery. So it's probably a good thing I don't regularly write about art!
