Apparently I did catch some Xmas spirit!

That and a pretty nasty cold. So I'm staying home so I don't infect people. It's probably the worst cold I've had in about four years. It's just nonstop running, dripping and congestion. How can that be, you ask? I don't know, it just is.

Anyway, working on a few things, including my latest MFA applications. I hope I make the Jan. 15 deadline for SFSU! I also have to actually finish/edit 15 pages of prose. I hope they like my Bridget Jones-esque novel. I realized after reading it, it's a bit more snarky than I would have liked. I need to soften it a bit. But I will prevail so I can sit at cafes and talk endlessly about the novel I will write with my writer pals (see photo.)
