Life is good, I swear!

I had the strangest day today. I worked hard on a story and my editor told me, "I thought this was going to be more of a historical look at XXX, not just a lot of personal anecdotes." And I was all upset and felt like crap. He told me to rewrite it as more personal anecdote because it was due tomorrow.

I felt like crap. An hour later, I hear him telling another writer, "I thought this was going to be newsier, but it seems to be all personal anecdotes."

I realized, I wasn't the only one. I hope that's a good sign!
