Ugh, what a few days!

I had a rough time this week. I let things bother me, so everyone says. I would love to be able to handle things differently, but it's not always the case.

And editor reneged on an agreement made three months ago and I am refusing an article assignment because of a conflict of interest. It's my first. I hope this doesn't lead to all sorts of negative connotations for me. As my SO said, "Do it and then put it behind you."

So, that's what I'm hoping to do. Please don't think it all has to do with her canceling my article, although it has something to do with it. It's more about not causing any more stress or negativity in my new job.

Either way, I have a few days to rest and not think about it.
