Are you meeting your goals?

Have you been sending out queries? Making contacts? Networking?

Chances are, you haven't, and you're a lot like me. What is it with October? I guess the leaves change and everyone starts hibernating. But I actually wrote a query today, so all is not lost.

The Wall Street Journal came out with its 2006 Best Careers. All very interesting, but I found the entry on Creative Writer (why not just Writer?) even more interesting. It didn't make it into to the top careers, but why not learn a little more about what we all are? And apparently another 50,000 of us destined to join our ranks in the next eight years.

So, looks like you should get started on those queries, hmm?
