Oh, man, I've had a long week. I can feel myself aging as we speak. I'm workshopping a piece I wrote about my father that I thought about sending to Modern Love, but now I'm not sure I want to do that and instead make it part of my anthology. So I'm "girding my loins" to the criticism sure to follow.Grad school seems like you just analyze the crap out of every sentence and thought. Sometimes I don't think we all put that much thought on our pieces. I'm not sure I do.
I'm also changing the look of my blog and hope it's a little better next week. It will definitely be brighter!
I have not received three checks for a grand total of $1,325 I am now owed. I'm a little annoyed by that.

I understand the frustration of waiting for money. Don't they know we have bills to pay or new shoes to buy?
