"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."The arctic winds were blowing today as I watched the SO rip open the ground with a pick-ax and tiller. I watched as parents walked with their children swathed in parkas they probably wore maybe once before. After an hour, I was freezing and had to go inside to warm up.
In late April, you say? Apparently the biting wind even made my Minnesotan friend complain.
Personally, I think it makes you feel more alive. I also enjoy snuggling in blankets with three or four cats wrapped around you for warmth (the SO doesn't think the cat part is that great, though.) Life is good!
