I did the e-mail

You know, the "e-mail." The one where I basically say:

Hi, XX:

It's been a little while and I haven't received
my check for my work on your magazine. Normally, I would wait a month before writing but your company is normally so efficient and prompt! Is there anything I can do to speed things along?

Of course when I say, "Is there anything I can do ... ?" I really mean "you," but you need to be nice. Especially since she gave me another assignment so close to the other one. So, how to not alienate oneself yet get paid. I suppose it might have been better if I wrote to the managing editor. Oh, well.

I hope it works out and she still thinks I'm great. Fingers crossed for speedy payment and mucho assignments!
